The Cheezburger Network is looking for a lead/senior developer to help us in our continued quest to take over the Interwebs.

This position will report directly to the CTO, and the requirements for this position are based on the work that you will be doing:

  1. You will be developing feature functionality for the Cheezburger Platform--an ASP.NET MVC application written in C#.  Since it's a web application, you will also write HTML, CSS,  AJAX and Javascript.

  2. You will work on a team that implements the most modern and progressive web and software development practices.  We are an Agile/Scrum shop that embraces iterative development, test automation and continuous deployment.

  3. You will be working on a small team, so you will be responsible for monitoring and administering our systems and servers.

  4. As a senior developer, you will provide technical direction and leadership for the team.  You will be expected to mentor less experienced developers, and will have a major voice in the shape and direction of our development practices.

  5. You will influence the direction of the product because we are a company that embraces Lean Startup principles of iterative development based on a build-measure-learn model achieving product-market fit.

Bottom line, this position requires:

  • 7+ years developing consumer facing web sites
  • 5+ years working with ASP.NET/C#, HTML, CSS and Javascript
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC
  • Experience with Agile development practices
  • Experience leading web or software development projects
  • A degree in computer science or related field
