Location: Seattle, WA
Salary Range: $8.75
This position will require:
- Scouring the Internet for new and old video clips relevant to our many web blogs and channels
- Evaluating video clips for quality and relevancy to meet the expectations of our many different user bases
- Tracking down and contacting original content owners
- Answering customer emails
- Screening of incoming submissions (weed out X-rated or unsavory content)
- Moderation of comments (spam, trolls, etc.)
Skills needed:
- High attention to detail (grammar, spelling, rules, elements in videos, etc.)
- Understanding of HTML (basic)
- High degree of web savvy with an emphasis on memes and viral content
- Ability to multitask on multiple repeating tasks
- The ability to understand our users' preferences separate from your own
- AND A SENSE OF HUMOR. :)

Compensation:
This starts as a contract position for 3 months at $8.75/hour. Based on performance reviews given during the contract period (as well as long-term business need for the position), conversion to full-time with full health benefits and raises are available.
